About Us

We are a Restoration Movement church located in rural northwest Iowa. We are an independent  congregation that is not overseen by a governing body. We are free to hire our own ministers and make our own decisions regarding doctrine. We believe that immersion is the biblical model for baptism, and that communion is open to all believers. We strive to follow the example of the 1st century church that Christ established. We believe that the biblical model for a church includes a group of elders to oversee the business of, and more importantly, the spiritual health of the congregation. We believe that four elements are necessary for a church service: communion, prayer, Christ-centered teaching and the fellowship of believers. We believe that we are called to minister to everyone around us, and we feel strongly that this means that we meet people's needs and love them regardless of who they are or where they are at in their lives. Our congregation tries to make everyone feel welcome and cared for when they enter our building. We believe above all else that Jesus Christ is the risen son of God, and that He is our hope and salvation!
